安全区域 is a campus-wide training program committed to making the University of Nebraska at Kearney a safer, more welcoming, and inclusive environment for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
The intention of the online learning program is to shift campus climate through education. The program is free and open to the campus community. Any student, 工作人员, or faculty member is welcome and all are strongly encouraged to participate. Participation in the 安全区域 program often sends a strong message to campus community members that they are an identifiable source of support and nurturance for LGBTQ+ students, 工作人员, and faculty on our campus.
